1.
Attention - Cha Ryo. Heels together. Toes
pointing in 45 degree "V". Arms straight down at your side.
Eyes straight forward at all times.
2.
Parallel Stance - Pyun Hee Suh Gi. Move left
leg out until shoulder width apart. Feet are parallel to each
other as if on rail road tracks. Arms out to the side 45 degrees
away from the body.
3.
Parallel Ready Stance - Pyun Hee Joon Bee Suh Gi.
Same foot position as above. Arms in front. Fists at
belt level. Hands should be two fists away from belt and one
fist apart from each other.
4.
Riding Stance - Chu Choom Suh Gi. Move left
leg out until double shoulder width apart. Feet are parallel
to each other as if on rail road tracks. Arms out to the side
45 degrees away from the body.
5.
Riding Ready Stance - Chu Choom Joon Bee Suh Gi.
Same foot position as above. Arms in front. Fists at
belt level. Hands should be two fists away from belt and one
fist apart from each other.
6.
Right Forward Stance - Oreun Ap Koob Yi. Bring
left foot back in to shoulder width apart. Step forward with
right foot to distance of about two shoulder widths. Feet
are parallel to each other as if on rail road tracks. Arms
out to the side 45 degrees away from the body.
7.
Left Forward Stance - Wen Ap Koob Yi. Bring
right foot back to shoulder width apart. Step forward with
left foot to distance of about two shoulder widths. Feet are
parallel to each other as if on rail road tracks. Arms out
the side 45 degrees away from the body.
8.
Right Back Stance - Oreun Deui Koob Yi. Pivot
heel of right foot pointing toes to 3 o'clock. Slide left
foot toward the right forming large "L" shape - legs slightly bent.
Right leg is bent more than left leg. Body is facing toward the
right. Arms out to the side 45 degrees away from the body.
9.
Left Back Stance - Wen Deui Koob Yi. Bring right
foot forward, next to the left foot keeping legs slightly bent.
Move left foot back forming large "L" shape - legs slightly bent.
Left leg is bent more than right leg. Body is facing toward the
left. Arms out to the side 45 degrees away from the body.
10.
Right Walking Stance - Oreun Ap Suh Gi. Pivot
on left foot pointing toes to 12 o'clock. Bring right foot
back but leaving about six inches distance between heel of right
foot and toes of left foot. Arms out to the side 45 degrees
away from the body.
11.
Left Walking Stance - Wen Ap Suh Gi. Bring right
foot back to original starting position. Move left foot forward
until about six inches distance between heel of left foot and toes
of right foot. Arms out to the side 45 degrees away from the
body.
